| Registration
All participants are required to register. Early registration through this Website is highly recommended. Once fully registered, authors will be allowed to submit abstracts and papers through the Website (secure uploading). Moreover, all registered users will be receiving regular information about relevant news and updates on the event.
Conference Fee: The conference fee for authors includes conference registration, conference proceedings (including forthcoming publications), transfer from the Lisbon airport to the conference venue (subject to a predefined schedule), coffee-breaks, lunches, official dinner, social programme and also special discounts at recommended hotels. Attendants will benefit from a reduced conference fee (see bellow) excluding transfers, official dinner and social programme (these are extras also available under pre-booking with the conference secretariat). Participation at the conference dinner is optional.
Students and staff from government bodies as well as private institutions and other attendants benefit from a special reduced fee of € 50 (student card or staff id card required for benefiting from this special reduced fee; does not include dinner). Professors, students and qualified staff from Instituto Piaget are invited to attend the Conference [€ 0.00 (does not include meals or coffee breaks, but requires previous registration)]. Payment methods: The payment may be made by cheque payable to Instituto Piaget or by bank transfer using the following codes: International Transfers ATTENTION: If you pay by bank transfer please do not forget to upload a copy of the execution of the transfer. Please note that, due to organizing reasons (mainly related with the number of participants), we can only confirm your full registration and participation at the conference (namely on what concerns inclusion in the conference proceedings) after receiving each individual copy of the execution of the international bank transfer. National Transfers To Portuguese participants: Por favor confirme o seu pagamento enviando-nos cópia do respectivo comprovativo (recibo multibanco, talão homebanking ou qualquer outro onde conste a sua identificação). Note por favor que, por razões organizativas (nomeadamente devido ao elevado número de participantes), a sua integral participação na conferência só poderá ser por nós confirmada (nomeadamente a inclusão no programa da conferência) uma vez recebida a referida cópia do comprovativo da transferência bancária. Refund Policy / Cancellation and Substitution Policy: We have a strict and clear refund policy to be implemented under the following key principles: 1. Notification of cancellation must be made in writing. 2. All cancellations postmarked or received by fax before January 7, 2007 will be refunded at no charge. Cancellations received from 8 to 30 January 2007 will be refunded less a €40 processing fee. Cancellations received January 31 through March 13, 2007 will be refunded less 50% of the registration fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after March 13, 2007. 3. Attendee substitutions are allowed, but notification must be made in writing. Please note, however, that registrants who fail to attend the conference and do not notify the Organizing Committee accordingly in due time are responsible for full payment.
