Aproveitando a oportunidade proporcionada por este evento, convidam-se todos os professores e investigadores portugueses aqui reunidos a estarem presentes numa reunião no dia 12 Abril, a ter lugar às 18h45m na Sala de Conferências do Hotel Vila Park, tendo em vista a discussão da eventual constituição de um forum adequado para a partilha de ideias, acautelamento dos interesses e promoção das actividades de investigação académica na área do turismo por parte de portugueses, que, vivendo ou não em Portugal, publiquem (ou pretendam publicar) regularmente os seus trabalhos no âmbito do exigente plano editorial internacional.

Late abstract submissions
Dear Colleagues,
November 30, 2006, was the official deadline for the submission of abstracts. As we have been insistently requested to accept a considerable number of late abstracts since then, the need has arisen to somehow harmonize late submission rules. The Organizing Committee has therefore extended the deadline for abstract submission.
Late abstracts will now be accepted until 31 January 2007, if submitted via the website upload form or through the conference e-mail.
Abstracts already submitted can also be updated, corrected and/or substituted on that same site, if necessary, until the end of January 2007.

The conference email ate2007@standre.ipiaget.org has been re-established and
is functional again since 21 November 2006. The Organizing Committee regrets
this situation and acknowledges the participant’s understanding for any
inconvenience caused. For future purposes, however, please note that in case
of need there is always the alternative of uploading your files through our
website or using the email srpm@ate2007.com instead.

Conference email not functional since 14 November 2006.
Due to serious technical problems with the email servers of the Instituto Piaget as a whole the conference email (ate2007@standre.ipiaget.org) is presently not working properly.
Therefore, and until further notice, in case you need to submit a paper we kindly ask you to either upload your paper through our website (requires previous on-line registration) or use the email srpm@ate2007.com instead.

Thea Sinclair: in memoriam
It was with great sadness that we knew about the tragic death of Professor Thea Sinclair on Wednesday, the 27th September 2006. Thea was not only a highly honourable member of our Scientific Committee, but also a great friend and colleague who was with us since we started this conference series back in 2005.
